Definition Of Munasabah
Etymologically munasabah means muqarabah (proximity) or society
(likeness) (Al Wathan, 2007: 137). Al Zarkasyi gave an example with the
sentence, bi yunasib Fulan Fulan, which means a person close to or resembling a
person (Anwar, 2008: 81). From the word munasabah can be taken word nasab l,
which means relative of bloodlines still continued (Usman, 2009: 161) synonym
munasabah is ta aquli (related), ittishal (continued), Al taliq (suspended),
and Al tartib (sequential).
Can be formulated that the absurd is a science that examines the
relationship and engagement between verses or letters in the Al-Quran that can
be understood by a healthy mind, so that it can facilitate the students of
Al-Quran to understand every verse Al Quran verses.

Various Of Munasabah
Judging from its absurd split in two, the first, which is obviously
munasabah (Zahir Al irtibah). This kind of munasabah interpreted as
correlations or correspondences between the parts or verses of Koran that one
with the others seem clear and strong. Because the strength of the link between
the two so that one can not be a perfect sentence if they are separated by
another sentence (Usman, 2009: 177).
Second, amunasabah disguise (khafiyu Al irtibah) kind of munasabah is defined as the correlation between the
passage or verse of Quran which is not straightforward, as will each verse or

or because one as would seem to contradict the other (Usman, 2009: 178)

munasabah and the munasabah verses between letters. Absurd between verses of
the Quran is a relationship between one verse with other verses. For example,

Absurd between letters is defined as a rapprochement between the
letters one letter to another. Absurd kind is divided into five sections
(Othman, 2009: 188-192)
• munasabah inter letter

the letter or sebelumny afterward. For example, the correlation between Al
Mukminun letter (the believers) Al nur letter, and the letter Al Furqan.
• munasabah between the content of the letter globally with the content
of the next letter
For example, the correlation between the content of surah
Al-Fatihah by Al Baqarah letter that explains both five principal content of
Al-Quran
• Munasabah between the initial letter of the end of the same
letter

The attitude of the scholars of Munasabah

(Anwar, 2008: 83)
According to
Burhanuddin Al biqai, there are four ways to understand the Al-Quran and it can
be used as research methodology absurd, namely through text (Al ibrah), take a
hint (Al isyarah), understand the subtlety of language (Al lathaif) and
understand the nature of (Al haqaiq)

The urgency and usefulness of
studying the munasabah
Az Zarkasyi
